Monthly Recap: October

Wow. I just cannot believe it’s November already! I’m sure I say this every year… Not a lot has been going on this month thankfully. I’m enjoying the longer days and have spent more time blogging this month. Getting organised for the end of the year which is generally a busy time of year for us work wise. I had a much-needed break away and spent some time with family up north but not a whole lot of reading time! Hopefully, I can make up for it this month.

Last one! So sad. Loving it so far and is one of my favourite series. The fight scenes… all the feels!

Sabrina – This was a series I wasn’t too sure of but even Joe is getting into it with me! A perfectly creepy series to watch in the build-up to Halloween. I’m keen for season two!

Skyward by Brandon Sanderson
An auto-buy author for us… Joe usually wins the argument to read first as I have books coming out my ears…

My Sister The Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite
I’m really intrigued! I’ve heard some really great reviews and some meh ones but I think the premise sounds really interesting.

Fire and Blood by George R R Martin
I’m not actually holding my breath on this one. The show is SO GOOD that I’m just not sure I care anymore. And prequel? Really? guh.

This is Our Story by Ashley Elston
I’m not thrillered out yet despite powering through quite a lot in October and this one sounds excellent!

The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman
Uh the title obviously! I hope it’s good. It sounds good. And I need a chill fantasy to get into!

Tell me what you’re most looking forward to in November!
