September 2018 Recap

Looking over my August recap I feel like I had a lot of time for lazy afternoon reading but haven’t actually finished that many books! Getting excited for sunnier and warmer weather – now that daylight savings has kicked in we’re going to love the longer evenings. I’m heading home for a few days to visit family and looking forward to some solid reading time while I travel… so grateful for my kindle which makes for light traveling!

The sequel to The Rook which we’ve been waiting FOREVER for!! Loving it so far and super excited that it’s going to be made into a series!

Maniac – Actually… finished last night. Really enjoyed it, though Joe thought wrapped up a little too nicely at the end. But still a great series and nice to see both Emma Stone and Jonah Hill in different roles.

Ozark – This is pretty deep so we’ve been slow going! Watch the first season it is so so good. Jason Bateman is amazing 🙂

Not super motivated to watch much actually! Been making the most of the spring weather and sunny afternoons. Had a couple of beach walks… yay. Looking forward to Venom next month and counting down to Fantastic Beasts!

An Easy Death by Charlaine Harris
It’s been so long since I’ve read something from her since True Blood. I’m curious.

The Clockmaker’s Daughter by Kate Morton
I have so many of her others on my TBR that I really need to check out! I’ve heard such good things so looking forward to this one.

Broken Things by Lauren Oliver
This looks like a nice easy thriller – I love the premise and haven’t read anything from her yet.

The Witch Elm by Tana French
Tana French is a go-to author for me – I love her style and I’m super excited about the premise of this one

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J Maas
Omg I am so excited. And sad that this is the end. I’ve warned Joe I am UNAVAILABLE when this comes out!

Tell me what you’re most looking forward to in October!
